The summit of tyrants

This is a painting I made a couple of days ago entitled "The summit of tyrants" translation of its original arabic title "قمة الطغاة". It is a patchwork depicting the same head (tyrant) cut from different newspapers in Chinese and French and separated in squares painted in different "light" colours with gouache. The idea is that even though the situations, era or languages are different the tyrants are the same. The fact that the colours are light and soothing, means that the form of the message is righteous, but the core is actually dark and devious.
